In Honor of Our Friend Trooper

Trooper came to the Circle P Sanctuary as a rescue. He was a 7 year old Thoroughbred gelding and retired race horse. He was approximately 17 hands, bay coloring and the sweetest fellow ever. Our goal for Trooper was to do everything possible to help him return to a full, healthy life and then help to find him a forever home. This is our goal for all the horses we rescue at Circle P.

***UPDATE***

It is my sad duty to report Trooper lost his battle to recover from his severe abuse and starvation on August 8th, 2010. He went down between 3am-7am and was unable to get back up. A team of people worked on him until about 4pm. After OSU vets arrived, we all decided it would be best to humanely let Trooper move on to a better place where he would no longer be suffering. So far, the vets at OSU feel Trooper's body just simply could not bounce back from the extensive infections through out his blood, body and bones. Donations in his memory are welcome and will be used to help cover the costs of the vet visits necessary in caring for Trooper in his final days and hours with us. Thank You!!! Click here to Help
Losing any animal is a terrible loss. In honor of Trooper, we are establishing a Memorial Page on our website where you can celebrate the lives of the animals you have shared your life with over the years.

For a tax-deductible donation of only $15.00, we will include up to 4 photographs and up to 400 words about your animal to celebrate their life for 30 days on our website!

Even though Trooper couldn't be saved, we do have a lot of vet bills from the last days of his life that we need help paying and your donation will not only help us with Trooper's expenses but it would be our honor to celebrate the live of your cherished animal in the process. !

To become a part of our new Memorial Page, Click Here to make your tax-deductible donation of $15.00 per animal and once that is done, simply e-mail your photos and up to 400 words to info@circlepsanctuary.org and we will include them on our new Memorial Page for 30 days.
