Meet Our Friend
Dusty
Name: Dusty
Breed: Cremello
Birth Year: 1992
Gender: Mare
Color: White w/no markings
Horse Info: The horses that started it all - Dusty and Colonel were the first horses accepted
to Circle P Sanctuary. These siblings have never been separated, thus they must be adopted
together. Left behind by an owner who could no longer afford board, they had no where to go.
When Philip and Lynne heard about their situation they sprang into action. Upon purchasing
these siblings, Philip and Lynne provided all medical, farrier and boarding cost necessary at
their current location. Finally, the Circle P Sanctuary was ready to open their gates and hearts
to welcome the very first residents. Both have been ridden in the past but have not been
under saddle in years. We have started Dusty back to work under saddle and she is doing
great! So far we have just done some light riding in the arena and the back field and plan to
continue her training schedule. She does not always like to be bothered, but will do most
anything for a treat, including bowing. These two are a beautiful pair to behold and are very
easy keepers.

"With the recent cancer scare concerning Colonel, the Circle P Sanctuary has
made the decision to remove Dusty and Colonel from the Adoption Program
and take them on as Permanent Residents at this time. We will continue to
monitor their health as well as utilize them as lesson horses until their health
dictates otherwise. If you would like to sponsor or make a one time donation
towards their care, please click HERE!"
