Meet Hannah, the Circle P Sanctuary’s newest rescue.
Meet Hannah!
Hannah came to us on August 11th, 2011 as a stray found wandering in a concerned animal
lover's yard. Due to her poor body condition, we had a hard time determining her breed at
first. However, we believe she is a Tennessee Walker. She stands at 14.3hh and only
weighed in at 807 pounds when she arrived. During her recovery here at the Sanctuary she
has shown impeccable strength and patience. We slowly got her accustomed to a "normal"
grazing schedule and she has since gained over two and fifty hundred pounds! As you can
see from the photo below, Hannah is looking great!
Hannah has been seen by our farriers, dental technician, chiropractor and myriad of the
fabulous staff from the OSU Veterinary Hospital. Hannah is completely blind in her left eye
due to a possible undetermined past trauma/medical issue but shows no signs of
impairment resulting from this situation. If we had to pick a few words to describe Hannah
they would be sturdy, steadfast and survivor. Hannah is now available for adoption to a
great home! Check out our BEFORE and AFTER shots below!
